To close this 2016 edition, the expected return of Groupe F with an extraordinary fireworks display
The setting of the Reggia di Venaria becomes the star of an event created by Groupe F for the grand finale of Teatro a Corte: a spectacular pyrotechnic display staged by the remarkable and most innovative company in the world in the use of fire, for the third time at the festival after the memorable inauguration of the same Savoy Residence in 2007. This new show called A fleur de peau is an earth’s ballad, a curious journey among the treasures of the cosmos: a striking story about the complex relationship between man and the environment made live with the most spectacular pyrotechnic numbers. Do we know the Earth we inhabit? And what lesson are we leaving to those who will live after us? A fleur de peau fills the spectator’s eyes with awe by dragging him to the borders of our contemporary world, in a magical and dizzying universe, revealing the fragility of man.
GROUPE F
Groupe F is one of the most valued companies in the world, a master of the art of fire and pyrotechnic creations. They worked with Björk, they lit up the Eiffel Tower for the New Year’s Day in 2000, they supervised the show for the opening of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai. In Turin they presented a show for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in 2006 and have been guests at the Teatro a Corte Festival twice, with the unforgettable Un peu plus de lumière and Joueur de flammes at the Reggia di Venaria Reale. Real architects of light and sound designers, the French Groupe F is specialized in the creation of site-specific events where the different scene languages mingle with great sophistication.
