Les limbes, the new work by Etienne Saglio, a refined talent of nouvelle magie, arrives in Italy at the Teatro a Corte Festival for the first time and delights the spectator, leading him in the heart of a symbolic tale, in an otherworldly journey through those stages that separate us from a new dimension, the stages of limbo. The inanimate comes to life and takes our breath away, the space is filled with magical creatures, evoked by simple objects: a red cape, a plastic sheet, a wand. A man finds himself face to face with his ghosts, in a rarefied atmosphere of alternating classical and electronic music, dilating the time and suspending it for a while, in order for you to pass on to the next limbo.

It’s hard to find a single definition for this incredible master of nouvelle magic: a juggler, manipulator and illusionist who after the success of Le Soir des Mostres, created with Raphaël Navarro in 2009, conceived in 2011 the performance called Le silence du monde / Installation Magique up to the recent Les limbes and the installations for large spaces Fantôme, stages of an artistic path of absolute originality and great poetry.
